Import Facebook Contacts to Google Contacts

Google does not provide a direct way to import contacts from Facebook. But Yahoo! does provide that functionality. Unfortunately, it only imports email addresses of your Facebook friends. How i wish that it could also import the Date of Birth and telephone numbers.
To get the email addresses from your Facebook contacts to Google, simply import them to your Yahoo! mail contacts and transfer them to Google Contacts.

  1. Login to your Yahoo! mail.
  2. Goto Contacts.
  3. Import emails from Facebook.
  4. Export all Yahoo! mail contacts to (yahoo csv format).
  5. Login to your Gmail.
  6. Goto Contacts.
  7. Import your exported Yahoo! contacts (csv).
  8. Clean up the whole Google Contacts by performing "Find duplicates and merge" from the Google Contacts interface.

I bought this watch four months ago and I have been wearing it every week during my weekend hiking. Overall this watch is impressive considering the number of features per the price that I have paid for it. All the features worked flawlessly considering that this is a relatively cheap watch comparing it to Casio ProTrek range of watch. SKMEI 1358 is basically an equivalent of Casio's triple sensors watches. You might know them as Pro Trek or Pathfinder in North America. It has a barometer, a thermometer, and a digital compass. It also has an extra sensor that the Pro Trek watches might not have as far as I know of. It has a pedometer. Yes, it counts steps and estimates the calories burnt and distance traveled. With the combination of these sensors, this is an ideal outdoor watch you can have for a fraction of a Casio Pro Trek price. SKMEI 1358

In order to share your Tasker love (projects, profiles, tasks or scenes) to all Tasker users, you will need to export Tasker's projects, profiles, tasks or scenes to xml files. Anyone out there looking for a specific automation for their Android phone could just download and import the xml files into their Tasker Android application and tweak the automation to suite their own use. Somehow i felt that the export and import functions are not that intuitive. I did took a bit of time and Googling to find out how to export and import properly. Tasker is a very powerful Android smartphone automation application. Although Tasker can practically do anything you want, you still have to learn how to create the automation. I know many of you out there are just plain lazy or no time to pick up the skill. Many had relied on Tasker users shared automation projects, profiles, tasks or scenes to quickly kick start your automation without hassle. I am sharing most of my Tasker automations in this blog for the benefit of the lazy Tasker people (no offence, i am one of them too). The Tasker automations that i am sharing in this blog are just the exported xml files. Most probably i will not be writing the "step through" like some other websites did but you can download and import the xml files using Tasker. It's easy enough.
