Enable "Two-finger scrolling" in Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick

  1. Download synaptics-dkms_1.1.1_all.deb from https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308191.
  2. Install the package and reboot.
  3. Goto System > Preferences > Mouse.

    But your fix was easy and worked PERFECTLY. I don't get it. How could it be this easy?

    As a bonus, I can now tap with two fingers for right click! This is GREAT!

    This is a temporary fix from the developers. I think this will be included in all the newer distros.
