The PUK (Pin Unblocking Key) is used to unblock a SIM. card As a security feature to avoid brute force attacks on a SIM card, the SIM card is blocked after three incorrect password entries in a row. If you've just insert your SIM card into your brand new Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, and you found out there is a flashing envelope icon at the top right corner of the screen. This flashing envelope icon indicates that the the storage for the text messages in your SIM card is full. However, this doesn't cause any problems on your 5800 because it stores text messages in the phone's own memory by default.But then again the flashing envelope can be a bit annoying.
